  4. The stereo sound quality is normal for this era of recording and it is good. The package is standard plastic jewel case with good liner notes. The tracks 6 and 7 are live, 6 from Philly and 7 from Boston, the producers did not put a pause between the two tracks so sounds like same concert, nice. $ is good enough for this recording/5(62).

  6. The Great Lost Story Of The Rock-A-Ballad, Vol. 4 CD $ 30 tracks, 75 mins, recommended The fourth collection from Lesley devoted to the rock-a-ballad - not pop ballads but slowed down rock 'n' roll - ballads, sure - teenage love, sometimes - but much of it with a hard edge. The sort of thing that Elvis and Gene Vincent used to do so well.

  8. A rare little set from The Meters – recorded in their home turf of New Orleans in the mid 70s, but with a groove that's as raw as their Josie Records albums of the 60s! The vibe here is a great change from the polished production the group were getting over at Warner Brothers – and the concert setting allows the group to really stretch out on some numbers – taking them into instrumental.
